The Night at ECP for a Random BBQ

Hahaha!

Last night was the most random gathering ever.

People came from all over the place.

But, it was good!

Pam was talking about those rich kids she's teaching in this childcare.

And I felt dishearten to have kids in the future.

Will I be able to bring them up proper such that they don't behave ill-mannered in front of others.

Or least not so arrogant just becos their parents are doctors, lawyers, businessmen and the fact that the parents are paying 2k a month for their childcare education, and a bigger fact that they all live in town area.

When kids at 6 talk like they're 20, we(the parents) should be worried.

Knowing what car their dads drive at the age of 6 and able to boast about their dads recently bought unit at Sentosa Cove.

WOW.

I'm overwhelmed by how times have changed and how children at young age don't behave like one.

What is childhood if all they do is to compare the wealth of their parents and talk rude to adults and fellow mates.

This is horrfiying.

Hai.

All in all, we still had fun bullshitting the night away.

I'm actually typing off stef's laptop while waiting for her to bathe and lunch to be ready.
She scheduled me for mahjong last night.
that explains my presence here.

Anyways.. I've so little to talk about Xmas.
It's like any other holidays.
Maybe becos I'm not a Christian.

Back from Bintan Burnt.

It's raining outside now. 

Singapore feels the same, humid.

Bintan is shiok! 

Hot Hot Sun.

As a result, I'm red all over.

Will be on permanent blush for few days. haha.

Bintan feels the same like my past 2 visits. 

Including my backache before and during the bintan trip.

Slightly different is the number of us going this time round.

4 of us! 

Peipei and Ivy did nothing but sleep, eat, shit. hahaha

Sab and I tried this motor thingy that brought us around Bintan jungle and along the coastline for an hour.

Becos we were riding that motor thingy and travelling on mostly sands, rocks, small stones with very uneven surfaces throughout, our faces were black after the ride. Feet and slippers are extremely dirty and dusty. And it started drizzling few minutes before we were about to end the whole adventure ride thingy.

It was something new to experience, but, this would be the only time.

I don't want to pay $50/hr to get myself dirty and dusty again.

Once is fun & good enough.

Oh, we all bought lotsa Polo.

Ate at kelong with terrible mai pian xia, but, as a whole, they served pretty good food.

Sab and I did a DIY massage while Ivy and Pei paid pple to do it for them.

Throat is sore. Must be the Macs after we reached S'pore just now.

Back just broke.

Will rushed to polyclinic first thing in the morning to get a referral letter for a MRI scan asap.

Okay, Sab just told me she'll have the car for the next 3 days!

SWEEEEE LA.

A car now is the most beneficial for my back!

Alright, it's time I continue to watch Little Nyonya on Mobtv.

wanna clarify that my previous post wasn't referring to Ivy and the guy she held hands with!

Anyways, for the Xth time, I injured my back again.

Nothing new. But the question is, How did I injure it?

Suspect myself injuring it while doing a star jump with pei and pam.

With this, I can't do seasports in Bintan and will be going for a MRI scan when I'm back.

Read Chew Chor Meng's article and his condition worries me.

I don't wanna end up like him 10 years down the road.

ahhhhh.

I've less than 5 hours to sleep!

Pei and I cracked this lame joke about bintan and phuture.

2 weeks into Holidays.

Here's my first post since the holidays started.

For the past 2 weeks, I've no idea what I'm actually busy with.

Mahjong, mahjong, mahjong, mahjong.

hahaha.

Will be hiding in Bintan before X'mas.

I need the sun and a very relaxed lifestyle.

This year has been pretty straining for me in various aspects.

Health, studies, whatever.

Guess it's not a good year for dragon.

Hopefully 2009 will be better.

Few more days before results will be out.

I'm not having an expectations.

It'll just be another sem.

Oh. I was at Zouk last wednesday and I think it's one time I saw the most familiar faces.

Meridians, NUS pple.

But, I didn't enjoy a single bit. Couldn't get into Phuture.

And Mambo was so bloooooody packed such that I was outside the club more than I was inside.

Slept for 12hours today.

On weekdays, construction workers will start building the lift at 9am, making unnecessary noises.
