Though e tiny fonts are giving me a little challenge, I need to come by and wish pei pei a happy twenty-first birthday!!!! And it's about time she explores her 8gb too!

With that, I announce my ownership of the coolest gadget and gd night!!!

What's with the unsettled heart?

I'm confused with my responsibilities now cos my actions just don't match.

At the start of each semester, I'll feel uselessly depressed over absolutely nothing. I've got my timetable, a short week, all the tutorials that I bidded for; there's no reason for me to feel depressed. I realise it's always on the wednesday. Especially so when it rains. The feeling just sucks.

Rainy day destroys all the outdoor plans I've for the day. Can't go jogging when I already planned to do so is.........$%^&* pissed off.

Rainy day makes me wanna sleep all the time. When I sleep, I lose my motivation to study and catch up on tutorials or whatever sch work I plan to do within the day. Then again, I fall behind time. Shit it.

Rainy day encourages me not to bathe. When weather is cold, I don't see the need to bathe. Moreover, I was home sleeping the whole day; how dirty can I get? Fyi, I do brush my teeth and wash my face!!

All in all, rainy day just puts me in a very down mood which I don't enjoy any bit of it. Except for the sleeping part if I don't have plans in my head.

So fast....it's thursday again. I've 3 lectures back to back. ho seh la!

I AM GETTING MY IPOD TOUCH REGARDLESS OF THE WORLD CRASHING DOWN ON ME. hahahahahahaha..

And I Hate Tuesdays!

Tuesday hates me, I hate Tuesday.
I've a 10am to 9pm timetable. With 4 hours of breaks in between.
rahhhh...

Anyway, I'm...
So sick of the travelling.
So sick of carrying the laptop to sch and not using it in the end.
So sick of buying new textbooks for each modules I take and read only few pages of that hundreds.
So sick of having to drink Nescafe to keep myself awake during lectures.
So sick of waiting for my iphone.
So sick of feeling lost with a thousand gone.
So sick taking cabs so many times a day (from sch to vivo for lunch w sab and back, then again from sch to downtown w amelia and home, I boarded and alighted the cabs 8 times in a day!!).
So sick of.................MY LIFE ON TUESDAY.

I've only one wish....that is...to sleep soundly tonight. I couldn't sleep at all last night. Insomnia?! You ass.

Am I feeling emo? How to be emo?? Am I doing it correctly? (refer above!) Or, just hide one corner and pretend to be pitiful or put off a 'the-world-owes-me-everything' attitude? Emo babies, leave me far far.

don't pissed me off.....as a child. hahaha..

Monday is for myself.

I love Mondays.
Mondays without sch, lotsa of personal time and most importantly, many others are not privileged!
hahaha.

Woke up at 12pm this Monday. I love the luxury of sleeping without an alarm beside me. The freedom of waking up anytime you want and hide under the blanket whenever you wish. That's life!

Did my econs tutorials diligently. This has never happened before in the past 2 sems. I think I've changed. For the better of course. At least now I'm doing my work, attending my lectures. Woahhh..

Just came back from a jog. I love the feeling of perspiring non-stop, makes me feel healthy and fit. The sensation of muscles aching with every inch I move and feeling so exhausted in the night, such that I fall asleep instantly when the light goes off.

AHHHHH! I love Mondays!

For those who gotta go sch and work, you'll have your time when you retire! I'm not building happiness on your misery, neither am I being sarcastic, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying....you'll have your own beautiful monday when you're free from work and sch sometime...down the years.

I'm going to bathe and out for mahjong! See....do you love my Mondays too? hahaha.

A disgrace to NUS.

I wish I didn't have to rant my frustrations about this NUS girl I met on bus 96 yesterday. The girl, unfortunately an undergraduate in NUS too, was a total disgrace to the rest of us.

If you're from NUS and you take bus 96, you should know the crowd on the bus during peak hour. The girl, who was wearing a blue top and a pair of white shorts with a ponytail on her head, obviously didn't care about the peak hour crowd.

People were trying to get up the bus and she made no attempt to move further in even though there was enough space for 2 more people to board. Just because she was alighting the next stop, she stood at the door entrance and watched the rest of the people trying to board the bus. I'm sure she's not embarassed that people are waiting for her to move in so that they can get up. I stared at her in total embarassement for the sch's reputation.

I didn't expect such inconsiderate and selfish behaviour from someone going through higher education. After all these years, what have we learn about being a better person in many ways? Her education has gone to waste no matter what's her CAP now. What has school taught you to be? I've seen alot of youngsters not giving up seats to elderlys or pregnant ladies. As many times as I've seen, I'm always disgusted repeatedly. I hope this is a good thing that I'm still not used to such uneducated, inconsiderate, selfish and unexpected behaviours from the younger generation. Sometimes, I even see myself falling into this group of people. At the minimum, I do feel ashamed. I've not been ashamed for a long long time...

A simple action shows alot about you and your upbringing. The school you're in no longer mean anything. Just look at that girl from NUS who stood still and disallow people up the bus, I disrespect her sincerely. 2 days back, NTU students were playing their mp3s so loudly on the train such that a member of public has to tell them off. What does this say? University students so what? If you're educated and you show that you're not, then you are not.

Hopefully the nus girl I mention above happen to see this. Or anyone who's guilty of such behaviour can read and feel ashamed.

Please be Considerate laaaa...

I'm gonna start this whole story directing the fault and putting the blames on In****s.

They brought up the most annoying bunch of kids and this is a vicious cycle!
How annoying?
Picture this..

That day I was on the MRT to sch and in the same cabin, this In**** mum brought along her two kids. The boy is about 5, girl around 7 of age. The train was packed and the little girl pushed her way through the cabin and disturbed those standing passengers who were trying very hard to find themselves space. She thinks it's fun, but, it's not. The girl's mum, saw what her daughter was doing, did nothing. Yeah, I can't stand the behavior of the mum than the little girl. As a parent, you need to teach your child what's right or wrong. By allowing her playing around in the cabin doesn't come right to me at all. Please, the least the mum can do was to stop her girl from running about in the spaceless cabin. She did nothing of that sort and I'm utterly disgusted. By her behavior together with her race.

The kids disgusting behaviors didn't just end there. They continued to make lots of noise and making themselves nuisances on the train. I believe they continued to fool around in the cabin after I alighted at Clementi. I haven't been so annoyed for a long long time. What worse was, the girl snatched a seat from a pregnant lady. The mum said nothing, yet again. The two kids are slightly better than monkeys you see in the zoo. Then again, I suspect monkeys in the zoo are better behaved because they undergo training by zookeepers. The two kids showed no upbringing and the mum showed no parenting. Complete failure on both parties!

I don't mean to sound mean and be a bloody R****t here. Honestly, if you were in the same cabin that day, alighting the train without slapping the two kids and not cursing the mum has already made you superhuman.

I was so tempted to snap their pictures and send it to Newpaper. You seriously can't blame my attitude towards those people. They spoil their own market. It'll take a few decades for me to create a better impression of them and by then, they probably would have been extinct! Screw it.

How a Monday shld be like.

Watched my first National Day Rally in seriousness and understood what exactly PM was trying to deliver. We can expect alot more ang baos from the govt in time to come. =)

Finalised my timetable. Happy with NUS this time round for allocating whatever modules and tutorials I bidded at first attempt. 3 day week - tues, thurs and friday (2hrs only though!).

Went to play badminton with hg this afternoon and it was obvious our skills and staminas were not up to before. My right hand is getting worse. The muscles are getting weaker. I don't think I can play bowling anymore.

A very relaxing Monday to kick off a busy week and it's time for bed to deal with the upcomings!

Babies of the Year. haha

HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Have a good laugh and guess those babies!!
=D

my heart was beating at 200/min at least.

The effect is quite nice right?? haha.

It was only yesterday my heart was beating so fast that I can feel it struggling to calm down.

All this while, I never could understand why some girls blush when they see someone they like or even heart beating very fast for that split second. I do understand it now. Fully. I didn't understand myself well enough - I thought I keep my cool pretty well, didn't know my heart can beat faster than running 2.4km just by doing nothing. DAMN. haha.

ps: I seriously can't rmb the last time my heart beat so fast for someone. It'd probably never happened before.

Story ends. No follow up. :)

And it was yesterday, I didn't know sab, yc, hg and bs share such strong telepathy! We went out and they were all in black. I wore white! The only one. They didn't plan it or anything. Funny Funny. hahaha. We played mahjong when we couldn't get to watch 'mad about english' after hopping around two Cathays. It was one of the saturday we spent the least. In fact, except for my lunch, I didn't use any money and the money for lunch was recouped during the mahjong.

Went around city hall and town area in hope to find some nice watches for someone's morbid 21st. Needless to say, I've all the cool watches already, the rest out there didn't really match up to my liking. So... the search will continue some day. In the worst case scenerio, we'll all turn up empty-handed. It's the thoughts and our presence to make your 21st one of the best. So why need a present? HAHAHA!

Have a relaxing Sunday everyone!!
Oh and to support the singapore ping pong team later at 7.30pm!

An early Saturday morning

Hahaha!
I'm up this early on a saturday. 9.30am!
We planned to have Macs breakfast at 10.55am but sab last minute ps.
so now i'm stucked with jogging or watching olympics, then i decided to do some blogging first.
I've lotsa to share. Maybe tmr or monday when I don't have sch.

LOL.
Sab and I were comparing our viewerships on our blogs.
She broke my Olympics record man! 3 views with 2 returning visits on 9th aug.
is this funny or what???
Where'd all the blog readers gone to?
come back come back.
I promise provocative content.

Oh yah.
Money No Enough 2 is _______. (lost of words to describe)
Funny as it is, there'll always be this emotional factor to make the show complete.
I can't stand seeing elderlys being chucked in a corner like that.
C'mon!! They're your parents!! so look after them la!
I will NEVER EVER send my parents to the old folks home.
no way.
Who knows some day I'll do voluntery work at old folks home. I know I don't look that sort, but, abandoned old folks have always been my weakness.

On 23rd aug, I've one more event to fit into my already packed schedule. Funny. It's just another saturday but so many things are happening all at the same time.

OKAY. JOGGING TIME.

Preparing for a full day

I've 3 lectures straight tmr and for the rest of this sem. Woahhh..

I had my earliest mahjong game at stef's place just now. We started playing at 9.40am!!
9.40am!! yes!! I woke up at 9am, took a cab down and played one round then I was too sleepy, ate beehoon (stef's mum cooked it), cabbed home and slept the day away.

I made another amazing accomplishment 3 mins ago. Sab requested me to sing a birthday song for her and I actually did it. Sang, recorded it on my phone and sent it to her. What's becoming of me? Since when I do things like this?? hahaha!! Twenty really makes a difference. Now I'm just hoping my singing is safe with her. LOL.

AHhhhhhh.
I'm tired again.
Time for bed and sch and everything else.

ps: stef, start your nagging system!
psps: my new watch switches between orange and red from time to time. interesting. hahaha.

Today is not my birthday anymore.

And......
my birthday is over.
so fast.
I'm unprepared.
Hahaha!

I'm tired.
need sleep.

This post shouldn't exist cos it's pointless and messy.

Need to wait another year for 12th aug. I'll be 21st then. Adulthood!!
hahaha.

ps: take a look over at my livejournal, i've thank you speech for you guys. LOL

HAHA!! I just read Stef's blog. She copied my whole post on NDP over and it's making me laugh. I'm laughing at my own work. Either way, it's funny to both of us.

Awwwww.. Sweet things happen!

To the one who bought this, you know who you're. You're loved deeply by me of course! haha! I wouldn't have made it to my 20th without you! We've come this far, we'll go further! Thanks man. =D

Suddenly, my bday is not screwed by stupid timetable!

First, I'd lunch with Sab and Darren at paragon. The food sucks btw.
Second, I'm driving down for 6pm lect later and Stef's following me there!
Third, it's my first time after jc sitting in same lecture with stef!
What can be more exciting than this!
Lastly, fill this up when I'm back tonight or smth. Might have more interesting meet-ups with some one later. hahaha!

Oh! Friends are contributing to my Ipod touch fund. Million thanks to that. Although I still have a long way before I accumulate 500bucks, but, every cent counts. Hahaha!

I'm all ready for lecture at 6pm. Some sci mod. Jesus.

Same shit different day.

Went back to sch today. Clementi still looks the same. The queue is as long as the queue in last sem. So i'm re-using this pic. haha!

I've the weirdest timetable on my bdae.
first lect 10am - 12pm.
another lect 6pm - 9pm.

YAY!

I've no idea what to do today even though it's my bdae. I'm overwhelmed by my lovely timetable, I can't think elsewhere. Sch, home, sch?

What a birthday!

Monday, August 11, 2008

Tmr is my birthday you know!!

Look at our smiling faces. So synchronised and totally unplanned. =D
The weekend was nothing but mahjong and eating expensive. The bunch of us met up with kw on sunday for his belated b'dae dinner. That boy shares the same day as the country!! hahaha.

The dinner then brings another stupid event at Swensens airport. We waited 40mins for hg's food to be served and best part, I didn't manage to waive off their service charge like I usually do. 10% of the total bill can buy you another main course!! Anyways, the dinner was all right if wasn't for the wait.

The bunch of us had pizza on saturday and swensens on sunday. There's nothing else to eat for my b'day. I've decided to go hawker. Eat my hokkien mee, chao guo tiao, fried osyter and make Sab eat them too! Our tastebuds clash quite alot when it comes to food.

I'm so hungry now. Supposed to drive down for lunch with sab, but, dad ended up using the car when I thought I could have it. My last day of school holiday. Need to change the bedsheets and check my timetable.

I'm gonna learn proper swimming. Olympics is making me wanna do alot of sports suddenly. R Susilo just got trashed by a Malaysian at a quarter finals. Lee Wang Yew is out of the game too. Swimmer Li Tao came in fifth. I woke up after 6 hrs of sleep to watch her swim butterfly!! She lost b'cos of the height disadvantage. Angmohs have long hands, so they touch the finishing line first.

I'm done with first tier blogging. Will be back. hahaha.

Where are the photos from the hot pink camera?

I'll just say 'Love guru' is a downright stupid and lame movie.
don't watch it.
not even if you have money.

National Day, feels the same like any saturdays.
didn't really see alot of S'pore flags hanging out of the windows.
We're Singaporeans.
Olympics started yesterday.
Alot of us will be watching the Olympics games instead of our NDP show later.
We're true Singaporeans.

Sher's has the fastest speed camera and it has brought lotsa laughters to all of us.
hahaha!!

We, the citizens of Singapore,
pledge ourselves as one united people,
regardless of race, language or religion,
to build a democratic society
based on justice and equality
so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and progress for our nation.

ps: I went to google for the pledge!! I started writing the first 2 lines and forgot the rest. Sometimes, uni shld make us recite once in a while too. now i dont think i rmb majulah singapura anymore.

Thursday, August 07, 2008

Hai, the gloomy weather.

Why did the day end with a heavy downpour?

Anyway, I'd rather it rain everything now than on NDP.

Speaking of NDP, I've not attended any since primary 5. The one everyone attended when we were P5 wasn't even on the day. It was a rehearsal. Don't really see the need to be there to celebrate this lil red dot's independence. Watching it over the TV with family/friends is as good, or even better.

Don't have to squeeze with the massive crowds just to get in and out; that's when accidents happen. Fight for seats to get the best views of the President (as if). For the next 2 hours of the parade show, you can't even hear yourself. Making yourself sweaty and smelly after everything, just like running half marathon. Worst of all, the crazy traffic jams when everyone can't wait to get home for a bath.

So, tell me what's the point?? Staying home to watch save you all these unnecessary troubles.

But, I can't deny that being there at the parade will make you feel more patriotic for that 2 hours. Saying the pledge loudly for the only time in the year and sing majulah singapura wholeheartedly. Oh, some pple go for the goody bags! This year's not very nice!!

After saying all that, I love this tiny red dot. For it keeps me safe and safer. I do have a sense of belonging even though I disagree and criticise alot of the things going on.

CAN THEY LIKE JUST REMOVE SOME ERP GANTRIES? much appreciated.

Btw, there's news spreading that old Mrs Lee has passed on. News will only be released after National Day. Will I get into legal issues by saying this? But this is what I overheard, I'm NOT the source.

The one reason I'm still in NUS.

The school gave me my deserved modules. Although I bidded for them with all the points I have. Showhand for the stupid advertising mod.

Take a look, my allocated modules!

Module Code: NM3215
Module Title: Advertising Strategies
Bid ID: B00002572502
Your Bid: 1089
Winning Bid: 570

Module Code: EC3332
Module Title: Money and Banking I
Bid ID: B00002470851
Your Bid: 800
Winning Bid: 10

Module Code: GEM2901
Module Title: Reporting Statistics in the Media
Bid ID: B00002563480
Your Bid: 500
Winning Bid: 200

For the other 2 econs modules, I got them at 1 point each.
EC2101 : Intro to Microecons analysis I
EC2303: Foundations of Econometrics

Now there's no reason to be absent from sch.
Good or bad?

Side note, 570 points for an advertising module, worth it not...

You don't need customised templates.

As you can see, I revert to using their default template. Don't you think they're just as nice too?
Hahaha.

Have been rotting my hours away at home doing nothing significant. If you consider going all the way to bugis for lunch with Sab and back is something, then, I've something. Otherwise, I do random stuffs like reverting my template to the default one and took 20mins to get the links, tagboard and that mini para of my absolute nonsense. Oh, I sent an email to HDB to void my parking fine too. As I recall, I did quite a number of things in a day. Not bad.

Soon, it's time for dinner!
Have you guys ever wonder where do I go for dinner every night? (Okay wait, do you guys even know that my mum can't cook!)

My grandma's place. She provides dinner for the whole family. My aunts, uncles, cousins, EVERYONE she thinks is a family member. Her place every night is like a mini eatery. I hope years down the road, I'd still be going there for dinner as often. I grew up there what! cannot forget the place that fills my stomach with nice (sometimes not at all, depending on her mood) food.

weekends at siloso beach resort

I'm taking leave from blogspot here and then.
Everything else is on livejournal.
including more interesting pictures from sentosa over the weekends.
=D

I have exactly one week before sch starts.
what meaningful thing can I accomplish within?
